By your guys reasoning, why shouldn't Texas Tech get a chance at it since they beat Texas, the team that beat OU?

Regardless, if Texas Tech hadn't won their game last night, it would have been a two way tie and Texas would have made it to the title game.

It makes sense, I'm not understanding how this is affected by any sort of espn love affair with OU or Bob Stoops

Exactly, those head to head wins don't hold much barring IMO. A [censored] team can take down an excellent team on any given day in any sport. OU is the better team right now, plain and simple.

The NC-National Championship is also known as the NC-Network Connection. Two ESPN experts were talking about USC getting some votes for their past success but didn't know if the computers would reward them for it. Grown men wondering how the computers would vote, now thats sums up the BCS. Then factor in the style points and how a team is playing now. I guess the first 7 games didn't mean anything. What a mess! Maybe next Sunday the BCS committe will have a couple computers appear and clarify the decision. I'm outta here, my computer told me it had to check out the latest BCS computer voting.
